The legal agreement between you and AutomationHire.co.uk.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and AutomationHire.co.uk ("AutomationHire", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our website, directory, or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
By creating an account, submitting a listing, requesting a quote, subscribing to a paid plan, or otherwise using AutomationHire, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.
AutomationHire is a directory and marketplace. We help Clients discover Providers and help Providers reach Clients. We are not party to any contract, project, deliverable or transaction agreed between a Client and a Provider.
We do not perform automation work ourselves, do not employ Providers, and do not guarantee any specific outcome from a Provider's services. Any project agreement, scope, fee, deliverable or warranty is solely between the Client and the Provider.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter contracts to use AutomationHire. You agree to:
Providers may publish a Listing on AutomationHire under either a free plan or a paid Subscription. By publishing a Listing, you represent and warrant that:
We may, at our sole discretion, refuse, edit, suspend or remove any Listing that we believe violates these Terms or the spirit of the marketplace.
Clients may submit quote requests, browse the directory and contact Providers directly. By submitting a quote request you authorise AutomationHire to share the request details with relevant Providers.
Any engagement between a Client and a Provider — including scope, fees, deliverables, payment terms, IP ownership, confidentiality and warranties — is governed by the contract you agree directly with the Provider. AutomationHire is not a party to that contract.
AutomationHire offers free Listings and paid Subscriptions. Subscription fees are billed in GBP through our payment processor Stripe.
Current Subscription pricing is shown on our Pricing page. Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise; UK VAT is added at the prevailing rate where applicable.
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period (monthly or annual) until cancelled. Each renewal payment is taken on the same calendar day each cycle.
Where a 14-day free trial is offered, your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends.
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend or downgrade your Listing until payment is resolved. Continued non-payment may result in termination of your account.
AutomationHire does not take commission on Client–Provider engagements. Subscription fees are the only fees charged to Providers by AutomationHire.
You may cancel your Subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access to paid features until then and your account moves to the free plan thereafter.
Subscription fees are non-refundable for any partial period or unused portion, except where required by law. Where the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you a 14-day right of withdrawal, you may exercise this right by contacting hello@automationhire.co.uk within 14 days of your initial paid Subscription, provided you have not started using paid features. By starting to use paid features (including activating a Listing under a paid plan) you expressly request that the service begin during the cancellation period and acknowledge that you will lose the right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed.
You retain ownership of Content you submit, but grant AutomationHire a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt and distribute that Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.
You must not submit Content that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that contains malware or unsolicited promotional material. We may remove Content at our discretion.
Reviews: Client reviews of Providers must be honest, based on genuine experience, and free from incentives. We do not allow Providers to solicit, edit or remove reviews about themselves. We may remove reviews that violate this policy. See our Reviews page for our verification process.
The AutomationHire name, logo, website design, code and all original Content created by us are owned by AutomationHire and protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from our Content without our written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that information in any Listing or review is accurate, complete or up to date. We are not responsible for the conduct, services, deliverables, advice or work product of any Provider listed on AutomationHire.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AutomationHire, its directors, employees and agents from any claim, loss, damage, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) any Content you submit, (c) your breach of these Terms, or (d) your engagement with any Provider or Client introduced through the Service.
You may stop using the Service or close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, if your account has been inactive for an extended period, or if we are required to do so by law.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law — will continue in force after termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or EU you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the most recent change was made. For material changes, we will give reasonable advance notice — typically by email to account holders or by a banner on the Service — before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
